Iron temperature according to hair type

SYNTHETIC HAIR - 60°C - 150°C (140°F - 302°F)
Synthetic hair that comes from extensions can be flat ironed. Of course, first we recommend doing a test at 60°C (140°F) and working with the iron straightening or curling the hair but never exceeding 180°C (356°F).

FINE AND FRAGILE HAIR – Temperature 120°C -150°C (140°F - 302°F)
Hair straighteners are not a solution for weakened hair or hair in poor condition. If you use the hair straightener regularly you can help reduce damage. Fine and afro curly hair is very sensitive hair. In these cases start by testing at 120°C (140°F) on one strand but never exceed 150°C (302°F).

FINE AND RESISTANT HAIR – Temperature 150°C - 180°C (302°F - 356°F)
If your hair is physiologically fine and healthy, you can use the hair straightener without problems as long as you can adapt the temperature to the resistance of the hair fiber to avoid damaging it. In your case, start by testing with 150°C (302°F) without exceeding 180°C (356°F).

NORMAL AND FRAGILE HAIR – Temperature 180°C (356°F)
This type of hair tends to weaken at the ends, presenting split or dry ends. Its ideal temperature is 180°C (356°F). You will be able to mold it to your liking without damaging it.

NORMAL AND RESISTANCE HAIR – Temperature 190°C - 210°C (374°F - 410°F)
We could call them "all terrain" hair, they are the ones that are easily molded and achieve great durability. But do not forget that they also need to be cared for. Start testing with 190°C (374°F) and if necessary, increase the temperature to 210°C (410°F)

THICK, FULL HAIR – Temperature 210°C (410°F)
We seem to think that thick hair can take it all. But it is not like that, we must also protect them using a state-of-the-art iron. Thanks to the Titanium plates of the ALIZZ and working at a maximum of 210°C (410°F), you will be able to straighten the curliest hair in a matter of minutes.

TREATMENTS – Temperature 230°C (450°F)

PRO TIP:
After choosing the right temperature, it's time to choose the style you want to give your hair. Try first with 160°C (320°F) and then go up. It is important to keep in mind that when the temperature is lower, it is always less damaging to the hair. RECOMMENDED 185°C (365°F) for daily use.
